Today is the first working day in 2010 for my office staff. In terms of professional work, this engagement ceremony was the first assignment of this year. I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to Dato’ Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, Dr. Halina, Dr. Hamizah and all other cousin mazen who were involved in spreading the news about me and my team to the point that the astronaut eventually chose Saiful Nang (me) and the team to be the official photographer for his big day, despite the fact that there were so many other tempting offers by others, even by some of the greatest royal photographers from England who were willing to do FREE coverage.

Today, we marked a historical engagement event as there’ll be (in the near future) no photographer can shoot Malaysia Astronaut’s wedding. This is unique as before this I put in a statistic that my customers came from this group by ranking…
- Doctors
- Entrepreneur
- Lawyers
- Engineers
- And so on…
I could probably now put….at number 20 or 30 ranking …. Astronaut! Dato’ Sheikh…as you have a lot of astronaut friend, hehehhe…I hope the ranking will go at least in top 10 hahahaha. I know there are lot of astronauts still bachelor

GROUPWORK!
This is considered as a celebrity wedding (as Sheikh is one of Malaysia most celebrated man) and there are no good photographer in the world can do it along. I have to admit, the presence of my team (CandidSyndrome) is a blessed. The 2010 photographers’ line-up featured more educated photographers, higher personality that you must love it, international award winning photographers, members of international professional photography association that only approved as members through merit (e.g WPJA, AG|WPJA, MPA, RPS, AIPP) and more in the line-up. That’s a HUGEEEEE REVAMP in CandidSyndrome new line-up this year. Every individual photographer has gone through minimum 2 years training in CandidSyndrome under the program designed by myself, executed by the seniors. For most of them, they even have 6 years experience in photography in total. As CandidSyndrome is a reputable team of photographers, we always CARE about quality, discipline, professional ethics more than anything you know about photography. With my blood, sweat and tears in developing the name of CandidSyndrome, from time to time, I’m very particular about putting people inside the team to wave our flag. No compromise for those who don’t want to move along with the brand vision…(that’s why you see some of the old faces got dismissed from the team).
A train need a railway to move. That’s the analogy, our professional born in CandidSyndrome. They are good photographers, and CandidSyndrome is the railway by implementing strict SOP, good system and smart governance and we even have (mistakes database so we’ll value experience of making mistakes, so we’ll not repeat it) and much more. Well…it sounds awkward as people know “photography is photography lah, ambil camera shoot ada gambar itu photography lah”. But for us…our photography practice is mucchhhh more than photography. That’s why you can see how expensive cameras still can’t shoot good images.
Bottomline…in CandidSyndrome, we do more than photography! it’s passion we enjoyed together. That’s why we are here. Stronger each day. Enjoice!

but then, i dont know why, recently…there is no more ooooo wau nice.or etc. ur picts are beautiful. but not as outstanding as before. sorry to say this. maybe it just my prob. nway…good luck in everything.
as u already followed from fotopage,means u already get used of my picture. It’s predicted already as I’m still the same person shoot the pictures since many years ago from the day u followed me. What do u feel the first time u went to langkawi? but what happened if u have to work there and see Langkawi everyday. Will that make sense? Sebab tu…impression is subjective.

no offend to all. but for me, saiful is one of genius photographer in malaysia, or maybe in south east asia. seeing his works, u can actually feels the the laughter, the beautiful scenery, the joy and sad in a one picca. me myself a photographer, i know a lot about photography. but am sure nobody can complete the masterpiece as good as saiful had done for this past few years. good job bro! am sure 2010 will bring something to CS. and am pretty sure, this time is bigger than what CS had achieve in the history of photography in Malaysia. good luck, cheers!
